At Spikker Specials, we integrate overhaul as early as the design phase. This means that the components and modules we produce not only perform optimally, but can also be overhauled several times without compromising on quality. In this way, we extend the life of machine components and reduce waste.

Choice of materials is essential

This is achieved by using only high-end wear-resistant materials including carbide, PM steel and ceramic. These are, of course, always fully hardened, which guarantees the material properties and thus the wear resistance. And that’s precisely where the difference with standard quality lies. Because in that case, often only surface hardening is used and this makes revision while maintaining quality impossible.

Specifications

Not only the choice of material ensures optimal performance in the long term. It already starts from the moment we inspect the goods we receive from our customers. We record specifications such as minimum dimensions or special requirements immediately. In this way we ensure that the components and modules fully meet the requirements.

Communication

And of course, you can also count on clear agreements and clear communication. With us, you know in advance exactly what the costs and lead times will be. Once all this has been agreed, only then we start production.

Revision of your own components

Do you use components or modules that have not been produced by us? No problem, we can help you with that too. After we have inspected the goods, we will let you know whether revision is possible within the required specifications.

And did you know that overhaul can also be combined with modifications to improve quality, performance and durability. Consider, for example, inserts in more wear-resistant material to replace existing and inferior material quality.
