Last month, we attended the Food Technology trade fair. This fair brings together the worlds of food, beverage and technology to collaborate on an efficient and sustainable food system. Review of the Food Technology Trade Fair

This second edition of the Food Technology trade fair took place on 12 and 13 April at the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch. These two days were entirely dedicated to current themes that closely align with our products within the food industry: food processing and machinery, food safety, and food innovation and sustainability.
Positive responses
For Spikker Specials, this was the first time exhibiting at the Food Technology trade fair. The first day was fairly quiet at our stand, which also gave us the opportunity to visit other stands. On the second day, we had more visitors stopping by. Visitors were positively surprised by our high quality, the diversity of solutions, and the fact that we produce all of this in-house.
Lab technology
At the same time as the Food Technology trade fair, the Lab Technology trade fair also took place. The organisation combined these, because there is a steadily increasing demand for lab-related solutions within the food industry. In terms of laboratory solutions, we have a small but excellent programme. This made the combination of both trade fairs very interesting!
Goal achieved
From experience, we have learned that you cannot control a trade fair. You depend on the dynamics of the event, who the visitors are, and what they are looking for. In that respect, the Food Technology trade fair turned out to be a perfect match. It wasn’t just positive reactions, but also a number of great leads! Both leads that we can work on concretely and leads as an addition to our network. So we can definitely say that we achieved our goal!
Food Technology 2024
During the second edition, the trade fair organisation saw growth in exhibitors and visitors. They therefore suspect that the Food Technology trade fair will grow even more next year. The expectation is that we at Spikker Specials will be there again in 2024!
